This apple didn't fall too far from the tree!

We learned today that Caelan is as cooporative a patient as her mother. We checked into the hospital to try to have her flipped into the correct position; but after a few gruling minutes of pushing on Tali's belly, our doctor concluded that Caelan was too "sneaky." Everytime our doctor thought she had Caelan turned, she would check the ultrasound and find that Caelan had already slipped back into her original position. She knows where she wants to be, and nobody can do anything about it. Sound like anyone else you know? (Note: "Her dad" is an incorrect answer.)

After the failed flip attempt, our doctor scheduled a C-Section for the morning of August 15, two weeks from today. Provided that Caelan doesn't flip on her own in the meantime, that will be the big day.

ohhh how this brings back memories of when I was pregnant with Jennifer!! However, Jennifer turned breech on her due date and we waited another 10 days to see if she'd turn on her own . . . but as Caelan, she had her own way of doing things!! The good thing, Tali . . . you know for sure that Caelan will be here no later than the 15th!! Call if you need an understanding ear! I've definitely "been there" and still remember!! Virginia

Tali, Jenna was breech before she was born, but turned..."sunny side up". She still did not come natural... and still has a mind of her own!...when Dr. got ready to deliver her she was looking up at him, eyes open. So even when babies are head down, they sometimes come c-section. God is in control...and Caelan will be just fine...you, too, for that matter. Praying for all of you...and grandma and grandpa Foster, too. Aunt Judy
